Am 24. Februar erscheint ein neues Album von Kristofer Aström. "From Eagle To Sparrow" heißt der Nachfolger des 2009er Albums "Sinkadus".
Kristofer has spent the past two years working on songs, relationship and life. Trying to get everything together. The ideas emerged during the recording of the previous album “Sinkadus”. Songs, sounds and emotions popped up and called for a new album. A more down to earth, scaled down musically with the typical Åström:ish touch in the lyrics. Some with full band, some just him and the guitar telling us the stories of a broken heart, just the way we love him. You can call me weak-hearted but I am a sucker for people hanging on to a dream. Åström is yet another way of showing that the dream is alive.
Punkrock, rock’n’roll and popsongs… who is able to resist? It’s an album made of loneliness, hopelessness, new beginnings and love… as hopeful, bittersweet and unfulfilled as it can be. What more is there to say? This is rock’n’roll… there’s no need to explain.
Album ”From Eagle to Sparrow” Startracks/Indigo to be released in february and tour with full band to follow.
